The Unhealthy Nature of Snipers in Overwatch

Overwatch is a game that supports many different play styles through its different heroes. A player can be a generic soldier or a mech pilot; use a rifle or a beam weapon; set up turrets or fly through the air with a jetpack. All of this diversity includes the sniper playstyle, demonstrated through the characters Hanzo and Widowmaker. Although it makes sense to add these two heroes to represent more playstyles, I think that their appearance causes more harm than good.

And It's Not League of Legends: Gigantic

For the past two weeks I have had the opportunity to play Gigantic, a game that I have been anticipating for literally years. After that public showing, everything Gigantic-related became quiet for almost a year; I thought that the game was lost.

It all started back in Blizzcon 2015 when Tracer was announced to be in Heroes of the Storm (HOTS). There was speculation for many months as to how they were going to approach Tracer and the other Overwatch heroes, but now that Tracer has been released we’ve found out just how well Blizzard mirrored Overwatch’s gameplay. As a player of both games, I thought it a fun experiment to try to imagine all of the Overwatch heroes as HOTS champions. This will also serve as a lasting legacy of how wrong I was when the heroes actually end up coming out!

Let's Break it Down- Overwatch Season 3 Wishlist

This article is essentially going to be a glorified Wishlist of what I want to see come to Overwatch during competitive Season 3. I don’t have any reason (yet) to believe that any of these will or won’t happen, but rather this is completely speculation and wishful thinking.
